And with Number 2 Snowdrop in Italy, I'm Home Alone!!

What's a girl to do?......

Well, I've filled the house with beautiful white flowers......

I have scheduled lots of yoga......

  1. Wow! I am feeling a little like you, but it's because we will be taking our daughter back to school next week for her final year! How did 4 years go so quickly?! I feel both proud and emotional during these big steps. You are so smart to ground yourself in your home and activities...enjoy the quiet! xob

  3. It's amazing how quickly they grow up! My eldest is starting his senior school next week, and I can hardly believe that he's out of nappies! Good to have a list of diversionary projects to ensure that life stays busy - one can NEVER have too many magazines - OR cake!

  12. Hey Liz, oh no wonder you're feeling teary with your snowdrops away - bittersweet - we do our best to turn them in to adults and then it's hard to let them go!! Your plan for distraction is a good one- magazines and cake are always a good idea!

  14. I know exactly how you're feeling- and mine only goes to uni in Bath. You are doing all the right things to keep your days fun and busy, and if there's a lull in your 'me time', just add more cake. I always find that works a treat!
Thanks so much for your lovely message.

  15. It's definitely a bittersweet time, but we wouldn't have it any other way - you'll be so busy before long, that you'll wonder how you ever fit it all in...happy weekend!
