An early supper al fresco and the anticipation of one of the Gershwins' finest shows.
All went well until the first number, 'Summertime', when the heavens opened and the stage manager announced that the performance would have to be suspended until the rain passed. Oh the irony!

I do love open air theatre too, you can pretend that you are living a Mediterranean dream, that is, until the heavens open!
